They are not a drain, they have oil and we still need that. They also have free education, parking in hospitals and medicine.

Is hospital parking hard to come by in the UK?

Oh well, he's a man that women should probably avoid, but he is hardly Tony Blair. Anyway, GB, I would hardly call Connery one of my heroes. Jason Bourne, for example, is much better than James Bond.

Come on Scotland, don't let the careerist shites try and bribe away your future. They never keep their promises, so do the right thing for your country. You will eventually become like England if you don't and Englands apathy is not your responsibility. Threats, bullying and empty promises is all the bankrupt London mafia has.

There are rumours that truckloads of Irn-Bru, Buckfast and Wham Bars have been making their way south of the border to try and create an artificial shortage in Scotland so that the Scots don't have the energy to make it to the polls. David Cameron has officially confirmed that he would be heartbroken if the Scottish people would deprive themselves of these basic ingredients to human survival by voting Yes.

Black market cans of Irn-Bru trading at around £14 Scottish Pounds each at the present moment in time.

What's up with the Connery hating. I think he is a great actor even though he has the ability to play only one type of character. Plus, who else can have a chest that hairy and women still think he is a sex symbol when he is shirtless. It looks like he has a thousand caterpillars crawling up his chest

What a fucking load of toss. Sometimes I log on after a couple of days, or sometimes just hours away, and you have littered the entire forum with one sided conversations. It's like leaving a naughty puppy home alone and returning to find it has dragged it's poop and whinnet encrusted arse across the brand new cream living room carpet.

The people of Scotland have a chance to be free and you want to stick to insults. You sound like the No campaign. Enjoy the privatised NHS, unaffordable education, and the continued housing bubbles. The Scots have a chance to reject this path and it is a positive and proud thing. The Scots shall always be our brothers, but sometimes a brother must lead by example, and you admire and love him even more for it.

So what happens if Russia decide Scotland is theirs?

Miles you are unbelievablely naive. Rhun you are peddling bullshit with this "under the English yoke" rubbish. Scotland if it votes yes will not lower taxes or move to the left or become some beacon of freedom like the braveheart myth. They will rush to Europe without the bargaining power of the union behind them and actually be financially worse of. They are a tiny spoilt minority who have been subsidised by the rest of the UK and England would actually be richer without them. The remoteness of Westminster from the common man is just as real in Cornwall, the north and Wales as it is in Scotland but the moneyed lairds and millionaires behind the yes vote have just shouted the loudest and succeeded in duping many with their propoganda.

This is why we need you in such a key position within the party. A splendid call worthy of Mystic Meg herself. I had my own portents of doom yesterday too, despite my prior Castro visions, and I think the difference was probably old people worried about their pensions. Fear was the barrier and considering the history, would you trust the English elite? Suffer less if you stay, but if you leave, we will really play nasty. Then the last minute bribery. I don't know how that is even allowed. How can you have Brown running in with proposals written on the back of a beermat? The fact that he speaks to Cameron privately sums up Westminster and the Lab/Lib/Con monopoly. 'We all say vote No or else......oh go on then some extras too!'. Is that how ad hoc it all is? I guess the fact that the Chancellor has no mathematics/economics qualifications sums the establishment up. A bunch of clowns mostly in it because they are rich and little else.
