High School Girl Beaten At Bus Stop For Acting ‘Too Much Like A White Person

When I was a kid, maybe 6 or 7, this kind of thing went on among the Mexican kids in my neighborhood. There was an element that would beat up other kids for acting 'white'. This was going on among high school age kids. I remember driving down the road one day with my parents and seeing four guys beating up another guy- they were pounding on him as he stood there, doubled over to protect his head. One of the guys was kicking him in the face. My father stopped the car and ran back to help the guy, then we gave him a ride home.
