Not that he landed a whole hell of a lot of clean shots himself.

A lot of posing, running, clinching and one shot at a time.
That punch did hurt Floyd, no doubt, and he was cautious in the next round. He was pretty much the same Floyd post fight, he's not nearly as cocky or dismissive of his opponents as he used to be, in my opinion.
If Floyd was hurt as much as you guys are saying throughout the fight, are you going to give him any props for staying in there and pretty much stifling Maidana's attempts to get anything started.
When you say Floyd wasn't hitting Maidana with accurate and clean shots it makes me think we were watching different fights.
The thing you should be excited about is that Floyd was getting in some clean right hands and uppercuts with little effect on Maidana. Floyd also landed some good shots to the body.
I'm not a big Floyd fan, he was definitely holding too much, and I can see where people would say he was running, but if you want to be taken seriously you have to give credit to Floyd what he does in the ring. He always figures out a way to win.

I believe my assessment was fair and I stand by it.

He touched Floyd's chin and body for sure but like usually it was mostly shots that were grazing, partially blocked or Floyd was rolling with.
Goes to show you that with the little he handed, he hurt Mayweather.
He rocked him at the end of round 3 for sure. Shame he couldn't do it with any consistency.

Maidana lost that fight. Lost that fight because from the beginning he didn't come to fight as he did in the first fight. Mayweather was there to being swarmed at times and he lost it... but, Mayweather was moving around the ring. So Maidana possibly couldn't catch him the way he could have.

Hats off to Mayweather. Still ducking Manny, but hats off to him.

Maidana has some scary power. If he cant take Maidana's power, then he certainly can't take Manny's power and accuracy- a power and accuracy superior to that of Maidana.

Watch the post fight interview if you don't understand what I am telling you. Bloody, with a dazed and shot look.

Floyd had a fat lip and looked tired but it could be because Maidana weighed heavier at 154lb?
