Why did you edit your post Danne?... You can't increase your body fat whilst lowering the percentage of fat on your body... To gain weight you've got to eat and train alot and have a high intake of carbs and protien for muscle building, your body fat will go up but once get the the desired strength increases (because thats the important thing here... not what scales say) then you train to burn the excess fat off, you can't do it all in one period of fat burning and muscle building. So you cannot carry the fat and reduce your body fat at teh same time.

In response to what you originally put before you deleted it:

Your natural weight is not caused by abnormal diets... you'll reach it when you physically mature Naturally throw Growth Spurts and and filling out once you stop growing up, you don't need Special diets or suppliments to reach your Natural weight... thats why its a natural weight... Your head means nothing so it dosn't really matter if you feel better but hit softer and slower does it? I'd rather underestimate my ability at my natural weight than assume because I am heavier I 'feel good about my boxing' but inactual fact be too bulky to move well, hit hard and keep working...

Why should he try to gain a large amount of Muscle mass if he is not Physically mature, a young amatuer boxer? Whats he going to gain from it, he will be in a weight division with people who's frames and energy systems are naturualy that heavy. "When a person hits his genetical potential thats when he has his natural weight " is just something you read posted by some one one bodybuilding.com or some where who probably had so many suppliments in his sytem they'd taken up all the space for brains... Your Natural Body weight occurs at any age in your Physical development and is simply your body weight when it hasn't been increased by abnormal eating habits like a High calorie diet of a low calorie lifestyle or decreased by a low calorie diet, illness or high calorie lifestyle.

its not taken personal, I just make sure I correct Missinformation on these forums...
