    Alejandro Lavorante vs. George Logan

    The Fight

Alejandro got off to good quick start, and scored early with long left-jabs as George attempted to bull his way inside.

Alejandro took Rounds 1 and 2, by spearing his left-hand into George's face. But despite getting out-boxed, George
plodded forward and was forcing the action.

In Round 3, Alejandro started to swing hard, and he scored with few wide right-hands to open a 'cut' over Georges left-eye.
George was not discouraged though, and he made a late-charge by bulling in and firing short hooks to the taller Argentinian's
    body.

In Round 4, Alejandro switched to left-hooks, and rocked George with a big-punch at the {1:00 Mark}. One of the punches
opened up a 'cut' over George's right-eye, causing it to bleed. This time, George backed up and looked hurt, and he was on the
    complete defensive.

In Round 5, the action was 'heated' as both fighters went toe-to-toe at Center-Ring. Each shook the other with solid hooks
to the head. Alejandro stared to slow down over the last-minute the Round, as George was now able to get inside and
land a few hard blows to the body.

In Round 6, it was George who landed the better punches, as his bulling tactics were starting to work in wearing down
Alejandro. George was landing good punches to the body, and Alejandro appeared to have nothing left in his punches
over the last minute of the Round.

In Round 7, George got off to a good start, as again he bulled his way inside and past Alejandro's light left-hands. George
slammed wide-hooks into Alejandro's lean body to take command over the first 2-Muntes. But the visiting Argentinian rallied
late, and raked George with a few wide right-hands to the face that had him 'bleeding' badly at the Rounds end.

In Round 8, both fighters looked a little spent. George 'plodded' and smothered, as Alejandro countered with light left-hands.
The action slowed down, and nether fighter took control over the second-half of the Round.

In Round 9, George was the aggressor early, and again used his bull-type style to smother Alejandro. George used wide punches
to the body, but his punches now lacked power. Alejandro could not get enough room to wind up, and was forced to fight
    on the inside.

In the Final Round {Round 10}, Alejandro took the initiative, and laid into George with a barrage at Center-Ring. Alejandro
'shook' George with a left-right to the head at the {0:40 Mark}. But George dug in, and used left-hands to work his way inside
and then tie up Alejandro. Both fighters scored with 'medium-power' punches down the stretch, as they went toe-to-toe over
    the last minute.

    'UNRANKED GEORGE LOGAN UPSETS LAVORANTE'

'LAVORANTE DROPS SPLIT DECISION TO LOGAN'

'LOGAN BULLS HIS WAY TO WIN OVER RANKED LAVORANTE'

    * The UPI scored the bout 95-93 {5-3-2 in Rounds} for Alejandro Lavorante.

Paul 'Pinky' George {Manager for Alejandro Lavorante} >

"Completely ridiculous. I can't believe the way those '2' Judges scored the fight. Alex won this fight, and everybody knows
it. It will be a long before a 'top' fighter comes back here."

"The UPI scored the fight for Alex by 2-Points. That was the proper score. Logan only won 3-Rounds, and that was it. Alex
clearly was the better fighter in '5' Rounds {Rounds 1, 2, 3, 4 and 10}. Rounds 5 and 8 were 'Even'. The UPI only gave Logan
    Rounds > 6, 7 and 9.
