If a boxer doesn't really have the potential to be world champion, and isn't a massive draw, why the hell wouldn't they retire, is always my thinking.

Well my thinking in making the thread is that he received so much hype and push from I guess it was HBO and ESPN like he was going to be the next Kostya Tszyu

That was just my own thoughts, not knocking the thread dood :P Hard to blame a guy for deciding to do something else if he can't quite make it to the top of the sport and has made some money, it wasn't going to get any better for him. Seems he pretty much faltered in all of his toughest fights, not like he just disappeared.
