Heres something you can try to understand, what im saying. Stand knees relaxed and slightly bent, with arms out in front of you, palms turned up. As fast as you can turn both palms down, then turn them up, feel whats happening to the hips.![]()

All that does is show the kinetic linl to the thumb and hip. By turning the shot thumb facing you, it locks the bicep and tricep tendons in the upper arm protecting the shoulder. Plus giving you better direction. Depends on direction where the elbow is, people dont estimate the importance of the opposite side the right to the importance of the left hook, its a balancing act.

That goes against everything that I was taught and that is that the thumb is upwards in a power line motion. It's snappier to turn the thumb facing me. Almost certain that I'm gonna be be thrown out the gym for insurrection. The straight right hand is the same movement knees bent back heel stays planted is this correct?
Heel is lifted 2 reasons, 1 because the knees bent, they work together. 2nd it gives rotation to the hip, and Tenses facies lata, the thing that orchestrates the posterior chain.
