    His book was really good, one of the better boxing autobiographies I've read.

    It's interesting to see how far he got for a guy who really wasn't very dedicated to boxing. He didn't train often or particularly hard, which kind of showed in his technique and skill. But he was a tough brawler with a dynamite right hand.

    That was a great era in boxing, I got loads of footage from around that time.
    Marcel Cerdan was another hard cunt
    Who went on to beat Zale.
