One foot shorter than the other?
    Change of gait, and plant.

If I understand you correctly the gait may have developed due to one muscle in footbeing strengthened while other muscle in the other foot hasn't? Stretching is the means to strengthen both feet simultaneously.

Problem is in the hip, making the foot biomechanics wrong, making plant and gait different. Alters everything.

So do you think the hip can be fixed from the ground up?

Do you think doing the reverse would cure a problem? What about cambers on roads when doing road work they must really stuff people up over a few years too if you take the same route every day for many years and one side is down and the other up slightly.

Try getting a foot massage. That's what Ali used to do.

It happens, on the same theme, all running tracks are anti clockwise. So any left sided runner say on a 200 metre race is at a disadvantage.
