just caNnot see evander and smokin joe ahead of foreman and marciano. Rocky would beat frazier AND holy (Marciano would to holy what he did to ezzard) and Foreman would BLOW AWAY EVANDER IN HIS PRIME 1973.
Foreman made like, two defenses during his prime. Evander was MUCH larger than Charles and Ezzard was never the same after killing a man in the ring. That being said, both fights Charles was right there with Marciano, despite being well past his prime. Evander is probably the greatest counter punching heavy ever, even stated by Tyson, and would have chewed Marciano up. Not even worth discussing further.
Evander struggled with clever boxers or MUCH larger men who were mobile and fought tall. I think he beats a younger Foreman worse than he did the one he beat in 1992. Back on topic though and not focusing on head to head competition, I like Evander's historical wins over Bowe and Tyson, his accomplishment of being a multiple (3x) time heavyweight champ (lineal), and his quality of opposition more than what Foreman and Marciano accomplished.
I don't think Frazier is a top 10 HW to be honest.
Wlad?
for fucks sake, we can have at least 1 serious thread every now and again you know, we dont have to fuck about like children all the time
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
Joe Frazier
Unfortunately, Joe doesn't make the Top 10.
Ezzard Charles is right there with Joe in the Top 15.
I always put Foreman higher on the list than most. To me he is a quintessential great. I was born too late to watch him live but did get to enjoy his comeback. I also have a George Foreman grill.
I do realize every time I rank him I can't say unbiased as I'm a Foreman nuthugger but I do believe a decent argument could be raised by many to justify having Foreman higher than I often see. I could watch his fights on YouTube all day and I am in the middle of watching when we were Kings for the thrice time. I'm sure we all have fighters we feel that way about.

Frazier beats Rocky and would have a great fight with Evander Holyfield. Joe does probably lose to Lennox.
Foreman was not a great champion neither was Holyfield.
Ezzard Charles is the greatest light heavyweight ever not heavyweight.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I don't rank off perceived head to head match ups. Frazier won the Fight of the Century vs. Ali and was dominant until the much larger Foreman came along. Frazier unified and erased all doubt as to his place as the champ and beat ATG Ali when he was undefeated.
I can see people rank Lennox higher, but for me the blowout losses to McCall and Rahman hurt his standing. If you can get over it and justify ranking him higher, sweet. Also think his shaky chin and Fraziers aggression and big left hook don't make it as one sided or non-competitive as you think...
