He isnt talking about, the same thing as i am. Hips govern movement, because of the coxxys your centre of gravity, balance, posture the position of the head is controled by it.

No its not, head going forward stops direction of power, watch a top sprinter, when they reach for the line they lose drive, half the energy goes through the front foot
If you don't use horizontal placement then how would you transfer your weight through?without Horizontal placement you wouldn't be able to load up and you wouldn't have any extension and follow through.

Full extension of the hips and shoulders, also if you don't use horizontal placement and do not pivot on the rear foot then the punch will go over your opponents head,if you push up on the back rear heal without horizontal placement then you'll be caught reaching in after you punch.
