I honestly think that Hopkins had no idea what to do after Kovalev both outboxed him and threw with him (and landed the better shots) when Hopkins tried to counter-punch.

I'm a HUGE Froch fan, but that's a scary fight for him. His chin has shown signs of cracking and Kovalev is much bigger and a much more powerful puncher than Froch has ever faced.

Froch has been hurt plenty of times, against Kessler, Pascal, Taylor, Ward, Dirrell, just off the top of my head. Maybe not badly, but he feels shots, and relies on being able to stand up to them. I think Kovalev has a different kind of power than any of those guys. I'm not even saying Froch would get stopped, but I don't think that's a foolish prediction given that he's never fought at 175 either and is getting up there. Most guys aren't Hopkins, Froch has been in some wars and has always been a big super middle, there is no reason to think he can beat Kovalev.
