Default Re: Genniddy THE CHAMP Golovkin

Golovkin represents everything that is good about boxing. The guy fights four times a year, always away from home, and has a 90% knockout percentage. That's the highest in middleweight history. He has not been knocked down or out in 375 fights. 28 KO's in 31 Pro fights. If you wanted a throwback with sound fundamentals and devastating power, ringcraft and excitement you could not do better than Golovkin if you got all the boxing cognoscenti from the last hundred years to gather in a lab and play top trumps with DNA. Last year he was voted fighter of the year by the readers of ring magazine, who on the whole do not generally come from Kazakhstan. He is not unstoppable because he is just a man, but the guy has done more than enough to warrant the respect that should be afforded him in addressing him as Champ.
