Lol I stopped reading after it said Saunders gave eubank jr a boxing lesson if anything Saunders lived upto his name average joe. He's very lucky eubank jr is still a little green

I think it said a lesson in the first few rounds.

Said 1st half of the fight. Lol I must be watching a completly different fight there was not 1 single round in that fight Saunders dominated or gave out a boxing lesson. Honestly can't believe the hype this guys getting very average fighter highly doubt he beats any world class fighter out there unless there way over the hill.

10-8 round? Come on. The 12th round of Hopkins-Kovalev should have been a 10-6 then. I've watched the fight twice and didn't notice Billy Joe ever turned into a defensless drunk.

I agree it was a close fight. On second viewing I could give Eubank a draw. I didn't think either fighter was ever in serious trouble though.

What Eubank can take from this is he has all the natural tools, attributes and ability to improve with experience. He hurt Saunders frequently, no one else has but thats not saying much as Saunders hasn't done much himself yet. He took some flush shots and was never really hurt. Saunders is fooling himself he had Cjris on wobbly legs in the second.

Eubank can get better. He's gone from fighting journeymen to fighting the defending British, Commonwealth and European champ and one judge had him a winner.

Saunders will also benefit from this. Hopefully he wins the WBO and hopefully Warren sniffs the big money rematch before Saunders fucks it up by losing to someone else and we get a rematch. Chrishas more room for improvement. If he had started putting the punches together and the pressure 5 rounds earlier I believe there would be no debate now because Saunders would have been stopped.

Don't forget this was a fitter, better prepared fighter than those mythical, amazing, british, undefeated fighters faced

I think Eubank could have won and I'd back him in a rematch, but he didn't start fighting til round 6.
In that regard it was a lesson. Lesson being to win rounds you have to throw punches.
By the way the article is positive about Eubank mostly. Basically saying he is green, didn't start fighting til round 6, had his dad clowning around yet still nearly got the win against a more experienced guy.

I've just watched it and I have to say Eubank should have fought from round 1 , instead of being macho , he was making a point that BJS wasn't hurting him .
I don't rate BJS at all , but I did smile when the scorecards where announced because both Eubank SR and JR are both tiresome cunts.
Put both in with GGG on the same night for me .
