"You're dodging my question, you're dodging my question"
You know the God damned answer shitstain. I was being facetious about agreeing with Al Gore. Al Gore is a moron, his film that won a Nobel Prize is full of lies, and he's a sanctimonious gasbag, a bloviating shit for brains giant douche, and a worthless piece of shit that the world would be better off without.
Now of course you will supply me with empirical data that MAN and MAN ALONE is causing Global Warming in return for having answered your question right?
At least you're admitting you've changed your mind. You now believe, like Al Gore, that the earth is warming. Probably due to the overwhelming evidence that it is. And the overwhelming body of this evidence from almost all climate scientists says that human activity is a significant cause of ur warming climate.

I know there's overwhelming evidence the Earth has cycles of ice ages and warming periods and those happened well before the Industrial Revolution took place....but you know I'd be interested in the empirical evidence you have found to support your stance........or you could continue dodging the question Kirk
How do you know that there have been warming and cooling periods in the past. How have you now been able to change your mind and decide that you now agree with Al Gore that the world is getting warmer? Because a bunch of smart boys and girls have for been observing and analysing global weather and temperatures going back centuries. And the exact same people who have convinced you and Al that the globe is getting warmer are also telling you that a significant part of the getting-warmer thing is due to human activity. So you're choosing to now accept some of their evidence but not the rest of it.
That will change however. You and the organisation that represents America's climate change deniers, the Republican Party, will gradually change your views over the next decade or two. Here's how your views will change:
Firstly the GOP are mainly still claiming that climate change is bullshit and/or some kind of big hoax or whatever. That will continue to be their position for a while.
Then they'll start saying that global warming is happening but it's just natural climate cycles and nothing to do with human activity. Sound familiar?
Then after a while they'll say OK, human activity is causing climate warming but there's nothing we can do about it.
Then after another few years they'll say OK maybe there is something we can do about it but the only way we can do anything will be according to strict free market principles.
Then they'll co away and confer with their campaign donors/funders and eventually prevent their solution: a commodity market for carbon that does little or nothing to stop the big polluters polluting but gives their Wall Street contributors an entirely new commodity market that will give them guaranteed increased profits every year.
Do you know how I know this will happen? Because it already did. Back in 2008 the GOP had gradually gone through the stages I listed and eventually arrived at the carbon market boondoggle, which they call cap and trade. In 2008 the right wing GOP presidential nominee John McCain and his even rightier Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin both ran on a platform that advocated setting up a carbon market and capping carbon use by US energy firms.

But in 2008 the Obama regime seized power in an ACORN-engineered coup and the moment the Kenyan entered the White House it scrambled the collective little shelves of the Republicans. They went full-on scorched earth tactics and abandoned any progression they'd had in their beliefs. They abandoned monetarism for instance and went back to Depression-era Gold Standard economics. And they abandoned cap and trade and went back to denying global warming. The Kenyan even reached out and offered to adopt their cap and trade policy (he'd been after a carbon tax) but the GOP refused to even discuss it.
But eventually they will. And a few years afterwards some of them will be claiming that they were the people who were warning about global warming all along and it was the Democrats who were the real climate change deniers.
