Bob is a scumbag but even a scumbag is capable of telling the truth. So it is up to Floyd to accept the challenge and call the bluff. If the scumbag is lying again, then it's he who will look like a fool. If Bob is not lying this time, then we have a fight.

It's all BS, kinda looks like hype if pac/mayweather is actually going to happen. The lawsuit will never go to trial. All Roach said was the same shit he said before and that was ariza gave Manny drink before his workouts and refuse to tell him what was in it. Even you think he is making implications is not defamation. Roach never said pac used or was given steroids. Shit writers take stuff out of context to make an implication.
You cant blame the press for going overkill over this as there was no reason for freddie to even say anything in the first place!

Freddie was just deflecting blame so it looks as though he had nothing to do with it "IF" anything does ever come out...
I could care less what the press does to make stories. It does get people more excited about a potential fight and makes things more enteraining but I can just easily just tune out if it gets to be to gossipy. I was just pointing out that in this case its overblown story and usually these things are designed to sell, it really means absolutely nothing.

Freddie seems part ass although he always seems to say, it's just the fun part of the boxing. And Ariza seems to have extra estogen in his blood. He always seems to be looking for attention and appears vindictive so it's an easy recipe for fireworks.

Not that I beleive it, but you know it would not surprise me, if Bob and Floyd were actually coorperating in creating fight hype. They do have one thing in common. "Love of Money"

Its no secret that bob owes floyd millions and it was well documented in the past.

Its not really a surprise this fight hasnt happened and the wbc or whoever should have the power to fine both parties 100 million and give it to the fans.

I think Bob has been willing to make the fight since Manny got knocked out. There's no reason for him not to try to make the fight and cash in, because Manny is on his way out the door and so is Floyd.

Ariza said in that interview I posted that Bob is unwilling to share the profits of a fight AND is unwilling to open his books to scrutiny from outsiders.
The general public and Manny himself would then learn just how little money Manny's been making, and how Arum's been conducting business.

It isn't like Floyd is going to give Arum money since it's not going to come out of his pocket. This is money that Bob can earn if he had Manny fight x number of times. The pay for Floyd is enormously huge that he will also have to fight x number of times to earn it. Given how frequently he fights, that may be 2 years worth.

Unlike the first negotiation, Floyd now has the upper hand in that he gets the lion's share of the purse. This is a way of getting back at Arum since the Pac team does not have the negotiating power that they had back then.

I am in agreement with them being fined 100 million but not with giving it to the fans. The fans had been stupid enough to watch these two fight subpar opponents. Might as well give it to the undercards who gets paid measly amount to smash each other's brains out.

This is the reason why I believe Bob is serious this time around.

Both Floyd and Manny has a few fights left in them. Just might as well take this fight and they won't need to fight anyone else. They can even milk this fight by having a rematch clause. They can both end their career on a good note, whether they win or lose.

You're having trouble understanding the concept of how Bob will be profiting by Floyd's involvement in a fight with Manny. It's okay. I'm a patient guy and I know you Pactards are a little slow. Floyd seems to have said that he will not participate in any endeavor where Bob Arum will profit. Is that more clear?

The funny thing that many people don't seem to understand is that Floyd ALWAYS had the upper hand in the negotiations. Floyd has always had the higher PPV numbers. Floyd has always had the perfect record. Floyd makes FAR more money than Pac so he doesn't need Pac the way Pac needs him. Floyd has been the highest paid athlete in the world several years running and he's only had to be in the ring for 96 minutes per year.

    Floyd IS the fight.

You seem to have trouble understanding the concept of how Floyd will profit by his involvement in a fight with Manny, and he will profit immensely. Unfortunately, there are quite a number of people who does not think that's the reason he does not want to fight Manny. And you are not a patient guy, please have your blood pressure checked.

I believe the first negotiation years ago was going for 50/50 split. And of course we expect Floyd to have the higher PPV numbers, he has been fighting on American soil.

Yeah but in this case the majority of the profits would be shared by the other side, not Bob. Arum doesn't have the power in the deal anymore, he's old as fuck and will hopefully die soon, Pac could retire any time, Mayweather is only fighting twice more, I don't see why he wouldn't just go for the big money. He literally has nothing to lose anymore. If Floyd beat Pac's ass back in 2010, Pac's earning potential would have plummeted and I could see him being worried about that, but now if Pac loses, who gives a shit?

I think Ariza's point was he put off the Floyd fight to get Pac to keep signing, he now has Pac signed for the rest of the career he has left, so I don't see the motives anymore.

I see what you did there. You must think you're very clever...but you missed the point.

Floyd doesn't need Manny to have made over $400 million in his career.
Floyd didn't need Manny to be the highest paid athlete in the world.
Floyd doesn't seem to care what people think about why he does or doesn't want to fight Manny.

Bob Arum is the reason this fight isn't happening.
Bob won't open his books for another promoter and the rest of the world to see.
Bob has been ripping Manny (and all his other fighters) off for decades.
Bob wants Manny to keep fighting other Top Rank fighters in China for the rest of his career. This way the money stays in his hands entirely. And the fighters remain in the dark as to how they're being ripped off.

As a point of reference I'll mention the 2012 NSAC paper work that showed that Manny had never been payed more than $8 million for any of his fights.

Floyd fought Hatton and made $11 million
Manny fought Hatton and made $7.4 million

Floyd Mayweather Jr. would fight Shane Mosley on May 1, 2010 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Nevada. Floyd would be guaranteed a tad over $22 million for his bout.
Manny Pacquiao would fight Shane Mosley on May 7, 2011 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Nevada. Manny would be guaranteed $6 million for his bout.

Floyd is clearly the money factor and draw for this event. Why would it ever have been a 50/50 split?

Also, your assessment of my blood pressure based on my posts is idiotic.

All this BS can stop when you just think for a minute.
Why hasn't this fight happened?? One reason & one reason only Floyd is NOT confident he can beat Manny. All the Arum BS & the steroid allegations. All the ludicrous excuses Floyd has come up with lead to that very thing FLOYD is SCARED he'll lose. If he lost I'm positive he'd do a Hamed & self implode. He could not take losing that fake 0 he's lied, stolen & even RETIRED to protect.
