It isn't like Floyd is going to give Arum money since it's not going to come out of his pocket. This is money that Bob can earn if he had Manny fight x number of times. The pay for Floyd is enormously huge that he will also have to fight x number of times to earn it. Given how frequently he fights, that may be 2 years worth.

Unlike the first negotiation, Floyd now has the upper hand in that he gets the lion's share of the purse. This is a way of getting back at Arum since the Pac team does not have the negotiating power that they have back then.

You're having trouble understanding the concept of how Bob will be profiting by Floyd's involvement in a fight with Manny. It's okay. I'm a patient guy and I know you Pactards are a little slow. Floyd seems to have said that he will not participate in any endeavor where Bob Arum will profit. Is that more clear?

The funny thing that many people don't seem to understand is that Floyd ALWAYS had the upper hand in the negotiations. Floyd has always had the higher PPV numbers. Floyd has always had the perfect record. Floyd makes FAR more money than Pac so he doesn't need Pac the way Pac needs him. Floyd has been the highest paid athlete in the world several years running and he's only had to be in the ring for 96 minutes per year.
