Well let me personally say manny doesnt come across as a bad person and I dont dislike him,

But please please can we leave all this bollocks about his great morals at the door.

We know as concrete facts he cheated on his wife numerous times.

We know as concrete facts he hired a third party to investigate his corrupt boss.

There are all the accusations of PED abuse including a back handed comment from his own bloody trainer.

He wouldnt exactly accept a facetime from graham norton and he covers his body in ungodly worldly body markings!

It doesnt make sense and so far the arguement for him staying is pretty damn weak..

It's a shame Momma Pacquaio's cross and voodoo ritual couldn't keep the thieving J** away....

I know many people will look at his decision to stay with Arum as stupid, but you have to look at his criteria. His values are obviously more important to him than making more money.
Would it or could it be possible that Manny trusts Arum. Hell, maybe they even like each other. Why do people stick with the same bank, insurance company, food brands, and job?

    No one can defend that.

It's the PEDs. His poor background and supposed morality of faithfulness or whatever just might be a factor but I agree with the PEDs blackmail theory. Nothing else makes much sense to me.

Information can be skillfully leaked in a number of ways and Pac wouldn't have much of a political (or musical lol) career in the Philipines with so much dirt being flung at him.

Nothing on this earth would stop pac from having a politcal career in the philipines...no matter how many times he cheats on his wife.

    He is worshipped over there!

I'm not sure a smear campaign would do him any good back home where he is currently worshipped. (A cheating politician? We've got enough of those already).

I do agree though that cheating on his wife wouldn't be an issue for all the delinquents who take the day off when he fights. (A macho politician? Your seat is waiting, Sir).

Yeah I think if anything came out that would discredit his accomplishments in the ring, it would be very damaging for him politically too.

Manny stays with Bob because he is at the end of his career and he is content to see out his contract with him. He must believe he does not have the people who can make him rich and successful without Arum.

I think it's fair to compare a PED exposed and disgraced Manny to Lance Armstrong. Armstrong was a hero to millions around the world for his incredible achievements in the world of cycling as well as for the multi multi multi millions of dollars ($600 million) his Livestrong campaign had raised. He is now a leper. Considered ultimate scum by most. He lost all credit for his cycling achievements and Livestrong has disowned him. Manny's reputation would drop just as far and just as fast.

I do not think it is the PED allegations otherwise he would also be complicit. Most people suspect it but it is not proven. He is not on it now so it is not an issue.

    HAhahaha!

Manny has cheated on his wife more than once.
Don't take this as, I'm defending the guy or his culture for the life style, mistakes and sins.

Ok so My Bad, I guess it not that obvious to some and you obviously don't know philippine culture very well. He didn't abandon his wife and at least publicly reconciled his womanizing ways. It is not uncommon for successful men in the philippines to have a mistress and often the wife knows. So it's don't ask don't tell. I've heard wife's talking about the issue (trying to calm the temper) that they should be happy because she's the wife that he comes home to. That it is a mans nature and you have to let them get out there. (I don't agree, I'm just saying this is the attitude I've been exposed to there.) Many guys get together for a night out (drinking and bar girls) and don't make it home that evening. It is accepted. It dosn't mean there are not problems. It's just part of the culture. I worked in a company that had an office in the Philippines and the US divorce rate, with the married men sent there, was over 80%. If you have money, the girls are very agressive at chasing you.

People aren't perfect and typical fail at trying to be. If those ring girls were putting it in my face and telling me they wouldn't tell my wife, I doubt I could resist and for sure wouldn't want to resist if I thought, I could get away with it. He's just a freaking man, that wears his heart on his sleeve. The question is why did he say with Arum, while others as an example, left and earned more money?

So your faithful only because you couldn't get away with it. That's sad. I feel sad not for you but for your wife. I'm sure she deserves better.
