Very bad, but isolated incidents of blow back are a natural response to Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and Syria. The torturing, renditioning, murdering war criminals are responsible for the invasions and thus all incidents of blow back like this IMO. When a million are dead in Iraq alone, imagine how many scarred relatives are still out there, and how many will have a life long hatred of the Anglo-American war criminals. I'm only surprised there isn't more of this. It is very bad and wrong, but it is a logical outcome of illegal savagery.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Its true. If we just take the simple law of physics, (morals and opinions aside), if A invades B and most people in B believe it was wrong, then there will be a reaction from B back to A. This could be what this is, or it could not be. I dont know the details yet. Turns out he had named himself a cleric but the Muslim religions here have no record of him studing and say he was not a member with any of them.They separated themselves from all his actions. He was also charged with about 40 sexual assaults of different women who he said he was healing through a spiritual meditation practice.He tried to get the charges over turned and was denied just last week.His new girlfriend or wife is also up on charges over his ex wifes death.

I dont know of it all, but Im of the feeling the original Ira were just in their actions to begin with.
