I think you have to use fire with fire. There's no talking to these savages, brute force must be met with brute force.

All civilized countries should get together and just agree that whenever someone attacks a civilized country in the name of Islam, we drone attack an Islamic country at random.
That's hilarious and all that but kind of ignores the FACT that torture victims just tell you what you want to hear and that the torture carried out in the name of people, in what you would call the civilized world, did diddly squat but drag the perpetrators of it down to the terrorists level. Drone attacking anything randomly is no better than planting a bomb amongst innocent civilians. How about the IRA, were they part of a civilised country when Americans were arming them ?
Yup, the US fault to. It was Irish Americans trying to support those who they felt the Brits were missing on. I myself gave money to Shin Fein forgive my selling. Maggie and Reagan were buddies and
The US sent envoy after envoy trying to bring about a peaceful revolution but you proved my point that so many in the world blame the US for so much. We even killed Kennedy, King and brought down the twin towers. We have always backed the Brits but many US citizens did feel the the Brits were having a piss on the Irish so chose to help out. You gotta admit, they got pretty close to Maggie. I didn't approve of a lot of the iras actions, especially blowing up bars and what not but the armed struggle against the military was appropriate. At least in my eyes. I don't know why the Brits felt it so necessary to keep the population by force. It was a noble war on either side and I would have loved to have seen the conflict resolved by peaceful means. Another conflict that was twisted by the Brits into a Religous war when religion played such a small factor. At the time the Brits passed horrible laws allowing for the detention and imprisonment with mere suspicion. I never liked that stuff.

I dont know of it all, but Im of the feeling the original Ira were just in their actions to begin with. Supressed by aristocracy from the start removing their ancient forests etc letting them starve in the mean time. By the time I was a kid the IRA was out of control and corrupt. It went down hill from the time when they fought off the black and tans on their own ground (A just action against such filth). But power is as power does and money and arms followed, people got overtaken and corrupted ,it wasnt a fight on to whos attacking, it was turned into vengeance against public figures anyone who dared stand against them, even the bombing of Londons under ground stations, targeting women and kids (There is no high ground or morals in that either way I would hate to have financed that). Now the new RA hides behind executing so called drug dealers but the exact same drugs are not being handed in, they are getting through RA channels. Its that power /money corruption thing again.

Correct me if im wrong there,by all means but thats how I understand the evolution of it.

    I can explain it.

Here is not the place to address all those points but as the English born grandson of an Irish grandmother I can tell you now that is a crock of shit.
