I'm not certain Leonard would KO Floyd but he could certainly beat him.

Duran would definitely KO Floyd though.

Yeah because Duran was such a knockout artist at 147

17 years after winning the lightweight title Duran beat the shit out of Iran Barkley, heavily flooring him, for the WBC middleweight title. Ring Magazine fight of the year.

If Duran was able to KO "world" champions above the welterweight limit why couldn't he KO a welterweight?

Floyd not only had a rough time with Maidana, first time out - reason for the rematch - but was briefly knocked stiff in the second encounter.

Anyone that thinks Floyd is "greater" than Duran better have some fucking slick argument. Fact.

You brought up a fight that went to a decision as proof that Duran was a KO artist at WW?

What? I gave an example of Duran beating up a middleweight "world" champion and stated a fact that Duran KO'd "world" champions above welterweight. That is a fact. Fact.

You do realise these are fantasy matchups, right? There's no right or wrong. However much you love a particular fighter you can't actually prove that he would win a particular fight that didn't happen.

Man, I kinda remember this fight a little. Duran was already old and I didn't giving him much a shot because I thought Barkley was like Hearns only a younger version with all that height leverage. I probably remember this fight because I watched in on AFRTS and I got it wrong. By the later rounds, Duran was sparking Barkley. Not really a fair comparison Barkley and Matyweather though. I have no doubts that Duran would KO Floyd. Gotta rewatch this fight again.
