If memory serves me correct Miguel didn't have a trainer for that fight. Margarito had loaded wraps FACT...and thankfully, THANKFULLY Margarito's career is over due to the beatings he took after he was not allowed to load up the gloves again. Margarito was clean against cotto unless proven otherwise in the court of law. He won fair and square. Gtfo with " facts "!
When assessing the attributes of both fighters, it is obvious that plaster/ punching power had nothing to do with the outcome of the fight.
Margarito was never known for massive power but he chopped his opponents down round after round and the cotto fight was no different.
Margo was able to take cotto's punches while cotto couldnt absorb the same punishment. His stamina was always suspect anf he couldnt carry them into the later rounds when margarito started to take over.
Cotto will forever be Margo's bitch.

Wow against a one eyed handicap who was at all kinds of disadvantage.
Not only did margarito fight with one eye, but everybody from the judges, doctor, and the referee was against him.
It is as if the ref was looking for the first sign of danger to stop the fight.
The doctor " gave " cotto the fight.
Shit was one of the most bogus victory ive seen in a long time.

Its pac or cotto 2 for floyd in may.
Cotto was nearly knocked out in the last fight with floyd and I cant really see it going any different with the rematch especially now floyd is back with floyd sr.
Cotto is cashing out so its canelo or floyd for him in may.. And he would have a much better chance against canelo at this stage of his career.
