I hate flying - like Beanflicker says. Every bump and I'm shitting myself
Doesn't bother most people

Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
I hate it to... best way to think about the bumps is thinking it's like a car on a road, the road isn't always smooth so the car willl rattle and bounce along sometimes, same as the plane in the air, the air isn't always smooth just like the road... that and drinking a lot help me get through it... although come to think of it it is mainly the drinking , just like the pilots I guess:S
This one reminds me of the air france 447 flight from rio to gay paris in 2009, it was also an airbus which encountered bad weather, I was reading about what happened there and the recordings from the black box recorders, there the main pilot was on a break and his co pilot was overseeing things and another lower ranked fellow was in control of the plane, the air speed sensor froze up so the airbus which has an pretty advanced computer started giving dodgy readings and the relativly inexperience pilot panicked and kept climbing and stalled the bloody thing and due to the freezing on the sensors the airbus system went a bit mad and gave unclear instructions so the guy kept trying to climb when he should have desecended to gain air speed and stop the stall :S so everyone died... I would guess a similar thing happened on this flight, which is going to look pretty bad for airbus.
It was this article I was reading which references the black box recordings and so on from air france 447 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technolog...-to-crash.html
so inexperienced pilot panics the "fly by wire" mechanism of airbus's newer planes caused confusion, cant see anything, dodgy readings=crash

Even though it's really rare that accident are happening. I've been on so many flights where the turbolens have been so bad that half of the people who was on the plane throw up, been sitting next to a dead person to... and old ladies who piss themself. But after all it's really nice, just sitting down having free drinks/beers, food, just tell em what you want and you basically get it. And sometimes there will be accident but with around 100 000 flights a day and you only read a few times a year that a plane disappear and or get driven into some towers, it's really safe. Most of the people are afraid of flying because they can't do anything to control the suitsuation when they're in the air. you basically put your life in someones hands.
