The loss to Maidana may have set him on a mild depression. I saw the same thing that happen to Prince Naseem, and the same thing to George Foreman when Ali beat him and Jimmy Young finished off what was left of his pride.

Some guys just can't take it... it takes a while to get your mind right.... and if his mind isn't right, then he should not fight. Because, no matter how we feel about him, we do not want to see anyone seriously hurt in the ring.

But, I noticed something more than the weight post-Maidana: HE STOPPED CUTTING AND GROOMING HIS HAIR PROPERLY!!

Sure sign someone is under emotional distress or suffering from some melancholy.

Depression and melancholy is a real serious affair. It's drains life. It takes years off of your life. Let's hope he does not become self-abusive and hurts himself.

Apparently stopped cutting it for him too. But, his dad morbidly overweight too. It may be in his genes.

He's an idiot. Probably thinks he can eat crap because Floyd does it for the cameras, but Mayweather has never been out of shape in his entire life. How could he possibly know what affect it will have to keep getting fat between fights, and how is he supposed to have a proper training camp if he has to worry so much about losing weight for half of it. I don't understand how a professional athlete that stands to make serious money for a very short window can't even take care of themselves, it's pathetic. He's not James Toney, and even if he was you can't do this at the lower weights where so much is about condition no matter how good you are. He's already proven to be less effective at 147 imo, and at this rate he won't even be able to make that much longer.

Leave Broner alone. He is a human being after all in the hardest sport ever. Do not bully fat people...

The guy resembles a ninja turtle in his "off season".

Except he peculiarly wears his shell on the front.
