Stiverne in 8, lots of knockdowns

This is a tough call, which means its a good fight. Stiverne hasn't faced anyone like Wilder, but Wilder hasn't faced anyone remotely like Stiverne. Stiverne is the vet. I wonder if Stiverne can get inside on Wilder and crowd him or if Stiverne will play counter puncher and hang out on the outside like he usually does, which seems dangerous against a rangy Wilder. Maybe Wilder plays safe and jabs. I lean Stiverne.

As much as I may want Wilder to be, sticking with what I've seen and its a guy never hit clean with very very few rounds of quality. I don't buy Heavies until they walk through, or not, a punch. That's all I want to see honestly. Tonight...I think wilder goes all new born Gazelle and falls over like a Jenga tower near a slammed door.
id put money on wilder by the way
if i was going to put money on anyonw
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
This fight is going to show us whether Bermane Stiverne is a big lazy lump or a cold calculating counter puncher and it'll also show us if Deontay Wilder is good enough technically to handle a dangerous fighter or if he's the heavyweight version of Randall Bailey where he is just horrific if anything at all is coming back at him.
Between the two I would reckon Stiverne might cause Wladimir more trouble because it's proven that he has a solid chin, has big power, and is a counter puncher. Wilder has pure power and I just think Wlad is too smart and too good at this stage of his career to get beat by such a onesided fighter.

Wilder points decision.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I don't think this is going to a UD. Wilder is chinny, and Stiverne won't take a Wilder punch head on for too long. No one can take a Wilder punch flush and make it UNLESS it is at the end of the round and the following round he runs around the ring.
With that being said, I don't think it will have a lot of action either. Stiverne will ride the outside for whatever amount of time he needs, will dodge to his right on Wilder and wait to time Wilder with a shot.
This will end in a ko. How Stiverne reacts when and if Wilder clips him will be the real story of this fight. But I feel when Wilder gets hit with a shot from Stiverne, and like Arreola and a few others, will not be able to handle it-- because it will be a sneaky counterpunch, one in which Wilder won't see coming or be able to brace for.
This is all up to Stiverne- how long will he wait? How long will he wait? I think he will wait for a few rounds.. he will be behind on points, but he will clip Wilder and will finish him.

I would like to see Wilder win by KO and spread some new life into the division.
For that hope and my belief that his power is the real deal, I will pick him by early to mid KO.
It is a pick em fight at best, with Stiverne being the more proven commodity, but a little lazy in there. Smart, but lazy.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
Stiverne knocks him out in 1.
