I have no idea why people are so sold on Stiverne off of one fight with Arreola (a guy who he was having real problems with IMO until he caught him with the hail mary right hand and shattered his nose).

Stiverne is the same guy who fought a close, compeditive fight with a 40-plus year old RAY AUSTIN a year or two back.

I say Wilder destroys Stiverne. I don't think this goes past 6.

I think Wilder stays in the fight for the distance. He will certainly pace this fight with Wilder. Could possibly win on points.

If Wilder ko's Stiverne in under 6, I would be TOTALLY shocked. But, due to the styles, Stiverne's strength, experience with taller guys, as well as his skill level and power, I see this being a distance fight- with sporadic and exciting exchanges, which will make this fight a 4 star out of 5 kinda fight.

It may not be a barn-burner, but it will certainly be enough for us to be entertained.

Well, well, well! It's about f..ing time!
Come on Bronze Mystery, make believers out of us.
I'm hoping Wilder gets another quick KO or goes the distance with a solid win.

Non-believers beware! Retribution is at hand. I hope, maybe....ah hell, please!

Can I be wet blanket here? Everytime Wilder wins Shaeffer says title shot in 2014. I don't believe it anymore. Wilder hasn't really even been in with live body. A jump from Firtha to Stiverne is BIG. It would be better for his development if he faced a guy like Travis Kauffman or Joe Hanks or Tor Hamer or maybe one of tough British heavyweights who get used as stepping stones these days.

It's time for Wilder to shit or get off the pot, he's fought enough stiffs, time to get in there with a real fighter.

Wet blanket?! Dude, you are like an ice cold shower on a winter morning, like a five gallon bucket of ice cold water--on a bare back--on a summer day, you are killing my high, bringing me down and I think you are enjoying it. Get off my back, Jack. Lol
Now that I've gotten that out of my system, I will say that I know what you are saying. I remember the title shot we were promised for 2014 after the Liakhovich or it could have been the, lol, Harrison fight.
I'm just hoping the truth will show up, one of these days.

Wilder will need to show some depth and variation to win. If he does, it should be fairly easy.

Wilder should be winning this easily. Stiverne's so stumpy and static he'll need Wilder to voluntarily sit in the pocket to get any work done. Wilder 'should' have no trouble whatsoever controlling the distance and bombing Stiverne out of there after softening him up for a few rounds.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
