I don't think that is the case at all. We don't need to see Wilder's chin tested IF we can see him box smartly. Deontay Wilder has all the attributes you want in a fighter physically, he's tall, rangy, he knows how to punch hard....all I need to see from him are the mental/psychological traits of a champion. How does he handle adversity, knockdown, cut, a difficult style, a point deduction, etc. Can he avoid danger how is his defense? Does he take too many BAD risks? Can he fight tall, can he establish the jab and set up his attack? Can he control pace and distance with the jab?

Wladimir doesn't have the greatest chin, we all know that, but he is a great champion regardless of that. Being champion is about making the best use of the tools God gave you and what your trainer advises you to do...Mark Breland can really make a name for himself as a trainer if he can get Wilder to BOX Stiverne and break BWare down. In all honesty I would be more worried as a Wladimir Klitschko fan if Deontay Wilder BOXED and broke down Stiverne than if he just launched a first round bomb-fest and stopped him early.

Perfect records are damn near impossible to come by....perfect records with 100% KO's? Even rarer. Deontay won't go his entire career KO-ing everyone, he'll eventually HAVE to last 12 and we'll see how that goes.

Lyle..... every Champion in history has had a half decent chin - that is Fact, doesn't have to be total Granite but good enough to take shots and come firing back.

Wilder has NEVER been hit by anyone because he's never fought anyone remotely capable of hitting him.

Exactly the same as Anthony Joshua is now, he needs testing.

It really is incredible when you look at the positions that Wilder and Fury are both in rankings wise then look at the utter dog shit opponents they have faced to get their.

Rewind 20 years and i doubt either of them would even be in the top 20 Heavyweights if that was all they had faced

Concrete evidence of the pure weakness of the division over the last 7-8 years.
