Wonder who's first for ward
I think 1. We're about to find out how hard or how easy it is to Promote, Push Andre Ward's fights... 2. We're about to find out how often Ward is willing to leave Oakland. 3. If we're lucky, the brand scoops up some young local fighters and we get another friday night fights kind of show that showcases live fights in New York on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. 4. There's a long term plan but eventually it could be Roc nation scooping up whats left of top ranks stable and Haymon trying to grab everyone else and these two titans becoming the new Arum and King. Please just leave it boxing... With two (current/former) music moguls.. i dont ever want to hear the phrase "BOXER-Tainment" or some variation there of.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

War Ward War!
It's nice that ward will finally be able to fight again. Hopefully they do well promoting him.
He offered Broner 40mil for 5 years which would have been 8 million a year and Broner told him to go fuck himself. I think he should have took it

It's the money. All about the money Jay Z has and the money he can put together with his connections. Haymon is shitting bricks, as a once dumb fuck from Marcy projects that used to deal dope is probably set to top him as a promoter/manager with his Harvard pedigree and years of experience.
I hate it when shit like that happens. I actually dislike the glorification of dumb fucks, because you know behind that façade isn't really "hard work" all the time- but skulduggery, gangsterism, sexual impropriety and theft.
Wait? Was I talking about Haymon or Jay Z here?!?!
Bigger man George, bigger punch!

Man! Wake up! Do you really believe these two guys had an easy ride to the top? You don't think they both took some real chances, that most of us wouldn't be willing to take.
I'm not saying they should be admired or liked, but you have to give them credit for being at the top.
Ambition, brains, balls to spare, and some luck. All of us don't have that combo.
Definition of a hater..brush them shoulders..lol
I'm not a big jay z fan but I want the best for ward and with 3 possible fights for 2015 I cant wait to see the 2nd best boxer in the world back in his day job.
Froch admitted the other day he wont fight ward again as he will loose on points..even froch knows how good ward is and good on him for being honest.
Ward and whoever owns Goosen now just weren't going to work together again without it involving large amounts in lawyer fees for both parties before any kind of resolution. That was an opportunity for this rap person to move in and offer goosen a big chunk of money to buy out Ward's contract -- it's about making a splash and Ward is the biggest name they can get. They were willing to pay a couple of million for a Quillin fight just to make a splash so to get Ward they no doubt offered the Goosen people a satisfactory amount.
Now they've got Ward and apparently Rigo eventually. Two guys who can't sell tickets or move the needle on the TV ratings dial. In Rigo's case HBO don't even want to show him again. And Top Rank/Fishnets/Haymon will be as willing to make fights with this rapper as they were with the previous rapper who signed Gamboa and -- yeah, who else did he sign. Billy Dib? Kirkland? Their careers have all done amazingly well, haven't they?
So they've got fighters nobody really wants to show or buy a ticket to watch and a bunch of other promoters who will conspire to strangle them in their crib. Good luck.
I just don't know what's left for Ward at 168 besides the winner of Groves/Dirrell and DeGale. Like GGG, he should move up.
