Arum said he and Pacquiao were "ignorant about the drug-testing stuff," when Mayweather first made the request for testing in the 2009 negotiations. He said Pacquiao has educated himself on it and has no problem to being tested and readily agreed to testing as part of his deal in getting the Mayweather fight.

    Yeah I'm sure they were...

Well when someone turns down (an estimated) 100 million dollar pay day because he won't take a drug test... to me that sets off a few alarms

Yeah you're right. $100 million isn't enough to spend what, a whole day learning the ins and outs of what is required in this testing either is it!? ha ha

You'll know they're negotiating when Floyd says they are...not when Arum says they are. Arum has cried wolf 10 too many times to be believed.

Unless it comes from the A side which is Al haymon or floyd mayweather mouth nothing is happening!

Bunch of clowns knew nothing about the drug testing!!!

How can any diehard pac fan defend this piece of shit Bob arum!!

Ariza has already exposed these guys and now after two losses they understand everything they need to know about pissing in a bottle?!

    What a joke!

Please let this fight happen and expose these frauds in a complete boxing master class shut out!

    Easy work.

Manny Pacquiao is a kindly, decent God-fearing man, while Floyd Mayweather is a selfish, despicable woman-beater. Pacquiao loves his wife and has never hit her, and he loves his Filipino people.

Manny would never demand an opponent wear gloves with extra padding. Manny doesn't demand home town advantage and has never used crooked referees like Joe Cortez to protect him. He doesn't need to run from his opponents nor pretend he's been fouled.

Floyd "Money" Mayweather is a shallow, selfish creature who coldly dumped his long-time partner Leonard Ellerbe, a man who truly loved him. Floyd doesn't care about anybody but himself. He treats women badly beating them up and never establishing a lasting relationship, perhaps because he can't come to terms with his sexuality.

I'm rooting for the good guy to win.

That could have been the problem, Floyd doesn't bat on the other team.

He's demanded special catch weights and he's demand crazy clauses (if Floyd came in overweight, he had to pay Manny 5 million dollars for ever pound he was over). Don't act like Manny was Mr. Humble. Floyd is a superstar, Manny is a superstar. Both used their superstar status to make demands and get what they want.

One sides fans seem terrified now that it appears eminent. Excuses excuses excuses already flow. For the record it's already been released ,by the camp that says talking in the media only hinders negotiations but just keeps talking to the media, that both fighters get the gloves of their choice. Thanks team Pac for making sure we know all, or at least we get the picture you paint.

you know something is fishy when mayweathers side has said nothing while arum and pac are saying everything is settled and floyd just has to sign. i think its another tactic to make it look like floyd is hiding. i dont think that things are actually settled at all. i think that there have been talks but thats the extent of it.
