Ross your hypocrisy where Fury is concerned knows no bounds. If he had been in Wilders shoes last night you would have been unrelenting in telling everyone how good a win it was.

Wilder beat a better version of Del Boy and he beat him for a belt, he must be better, boxrec say so. Del Boy didn't land a glove on Fury and it was masterful, Stivern landed very little on Wilder but it was because he didn't try. Nothing at all to do with having a jab and right cross rammed into his mush every five seconds.

Wilder couldn't stop Stivern, a bit more polish on him and he would have. Fury couldn't stop an uninterested Del Boy but it's because he didn't want to. Stivern has never been twatted by a cruiserweight part timer.

Give the guy a break and prepare your typing finger for when Fury slays the Bronze Bomber. For now it's just being dismissive for obligations sake.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Cunningham was robbed blind against Adamek at heavy but Adamek battered Arreola and won comfortably. Cunningham also has a stoppage win over Huck. A win over Mansour. Watching the fight over the weekend he beats stiverne too.

All Arreola can say is he lost to anyone halfway decent he faced.
all true, wasnt arreola injured in the adamek fight?

im not sure cunningham would beat stiverne, it would be an interesting fight, im not sure id bet on cunningham though
A more interesting fight is between Stiverne and Chisora. A win for either and there straight back in the picture for a title shot.

Cunningham is deserving but he is going to be an awkward fight.

Hmm... You may be partly right. I am biased but I'm not talking shit.

You know, I liked Fury because he does or tries hard to do what he says he will. Theres no pretence, he is what he is and its fun to watch and listen to. I got fed up listening to the crap he was getting, not that he needs anyone to stick up for him but all the criticism he gets is ridiculous. Mostly to do with how his body looks. He is far more skilled than some will give him credit for.

Wilder is still as good as I thought he was, ok skills. Has an excellent jab which was new but he did tire and that power he was putting on the jab faded. He was a bit tense and used up a lot of energy in the first round or two putting a lot on the jab. Maybe he can continue learning to the point he relaxes a bit more and doesn't use up that energy. I think he could have easily stopped Stiverne if he wasn't so tense early. Stiverne is still as poor as I thought.

Iv never said Tyson is the best in the division iv always said the reality is with his skills, he does have them, footwork, work rate, stamina, will to win using some clever/dirty tactics, decent jab, size he will be very hard to beat. He's not a clumsy giant like Wach with not much else than size or strength. Wilder Tyson is probably a 60/40 fight in Tysons favour right now. It becomes a 50/50 fight if Wilder gets a defence against someone tough next that wont win and why not retread Arreola for yet another WBC challenge? The more experience at this level Wilder gets, the more of a threat he will be. Right now though other than the one two, Wilder didn't need a great deal else. He looked a bit clueless when Stiverne managed to walk him to the ropes but luckily for Wilder, Stiverne doesn't have many more clues. Watching Wilder lean back on the ropes with his gloves high was reminiscent of Mike Tyson against Bruno but what was missing was the skills and imagination to use the uppercut. Stiverne instead chose to throw hooks at Wilders defence, totally ineffective and tiring himself.

I'm giving Wilder the benefit of the doubt where his engine is concerned. He covered the 12 rounds, threw a load of leather and was still going at the end.

There was a period after about 4 rounds I think when I wondered if he was going to wilt, he certainly looked like he was out of ideas a bit. That's got to be natural though for a guy that's clumped everyone he's fought in a few rounds. Sooner or later you'll run into someone who wont go over. No matter how many times he would have been told this or reminded himself he still has to cross that bridge mid fight. Ideally that would have come before fighting for a title but Wilder passed the test when it mattered most.
