We don't know what he was eating or drinking during camp, we knew something was wrong during the fight but allowed him to continue to get punched in the head.
Brilliant.
If Stiverns mob handle anyone below heavy I'd be concerned.

When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Could be that he was/is a healthy specimen? There is a difference in in-grown strength and conditioning with Caribbean fighters and to some extent Eastern European fighters when you place them next to American fighters- better early age diets, and better quality specimens with little or no "social" hang ups that destroy habits and behaviour.
Stiverne may just be a good quality specimen, built Ford Tough. But even the best specimens have their limits. He took his to the limit under some extreme conditions, as it appears.

No excuses, I like Stiverne, but he did seem a bit "out of it" (maybe because of eating so many straight rights from the big punching Wilder) but did you see his non-existent footwork after round 6? He stood squared-up, no head movement, never even tried to duck under any shots that I saw, didn't make a fuck of a lotta sense to me.
The fat shit looked woefully out of shape to me as well, pudgy, sluggish, waddling like a duck.
Pudgy, sluggish, waddling like a duck. Seriously, wtf? happened to him? he's right he was "flat"----
though I would say more like "fat" bwahaha
How hard did this dude train for Wilder? You're going in against a chiseled 29 year old Adonis with a big cock and a small head, shoulders like Atlas, 32 KOs------ Stiverne looked like he was in the shape to fight a buffet table at an all-you-can-eat Mexican restaurant.
bad conditioning, and even WORSE FIGHT PLAN.
Thats what I've been saying about him for ages.
Its nothing new, just the big difference here was Wilder was a lot more difficult to hit because he had a hard jab, was tall, could actually ride punches because he could see them coming and could use his legs.
If Tua had been fighting Arreola he too would have won the title. Arreola is easy to hit, Wilder wasn't.
The man was brave enough to get into the ring with another professional fighter, risking serious injury and humiliation in front of millions.

If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
Well Stiverne did stop moving at about the 6th. I think he shook those rights he took in the 2nd and the 4th. He never had movement. And when he tried to move, he did so for short stints and then looked gassed.

If the bell didn't save him at the end of the 2nd he would have probably ended the fight unconcious.

3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
he was getting punched very very hard in the head over and over again
probably contributed to him stopping moving his head at the half way mark
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
Wasn't that the round Wilder was supposed to become stationary too?Stiverne was forced out of his comfort zone and couldn't handle the pace.
Frustration, piston like jabs exploding on his face, and thudding right hands have a way of slowing everyone down, especially after six rounds.
He was too pooped to have any pop on his punches.
He was dehydrated? He should have been, he spent 36 minutes following Wilder around the ring, throwing hard punches, that a lot of you say never landed.
Stiverne fought a ballsy fight IMO, came forward on the puncher and took a lot of big punches, he just couldn't get the job done.
