Wasn't that the round Wilder was supposed to become stationary too?Stiverne was forced out of his comfort zone and couldn't handle the pace.
Frustration, piston like jabs exploding on his face, and thudding right hands have a way of slowing everyone down, especially after six rounds.
He was too pooped to have any pop on his punches.
He was dehydrated? He should have been, he spent 36 minutes following Wilder around the ring, throwing hard punches, that a lot of you say never landed.

Stiverne fought a ballsy fight IMO, came forward on the puncher and took a lot of big punches, he just couldn't get the job done.

Hey, I'm not saying a thing against Stiverne, like you said he was in there doing what he could. He didn't really even make an excuse, except for saying he couldn't do what he wanted, which was obvious.
They might actually find out Stiverne does have a medical problem, but I doubt it.
My knee jerk reaction when Don King is involved is that someone is lying like a rug. He's like a cancer on the face of boxing that should be removed. If you can't trust someone, he's not worth keeping around, in my simplified world.

Anybody can become dehydrated if they shit themselves excessively and on the night Stiverne seemingly did a lot of that. I hope he recovers and I am sure he will manage to fight again sometime in the next couple of years under the fine guidance of Don King.

Explains everything, there should be an immediate rematch. Stiverne was exhausted at the ends of both rounds 1 and 2, in fact every time he let his hands go it looked like he desperately needed a nice glass of water. Larry Holmes even texted Don King about it, what else do you need?
