Adios Andy, it's been real. Pete Quillen might not have the best sense when it comes to management of his career but he's certainly tough enough to KO Andy Lee who is only in this position because he landed a Hail Mary punch on Julian Jackson's son.

Andy has way more experience and has fought better competition overall. This is supposed to be a made to order Al Haymon moment but its not out of the question that Andy never read the script. And El Andy is here because he fought the guy Quillin refused to fight and knocked him out. The only southpaw he ever faced was a spent Winky and he's never been clocked by a puncher like Lee.
Andy doesn't fight smart, he doesn't control distance well enough and on the inside he's very vulnerable. Pete is athletic, he's strong, he's fast, he's powerful, and he's got a good chin. We've seen Andy's ceiling...it's below Pete

Not a bad scrap style wise at all. Thinking Quillin gets him out late, left hooks beating Andy's neon sign loaded right hand.

Weird thing is Lee landed the hail mary punch against the guy Quillin didn't want to face too. Which kind of adds to a the mystery of it. If its a close your eyes and swing thing for Lee, he's had a lot of success with it. At a certain point you kind of have to say it's deliberate over desperation, no? Lets hope theres one more in there. I'd love to see crazy legs quillin chase lee with a hammer and get stretched, maybe it it will knock some sense into him about his management.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

Bullshit. If I were the WBO Quillin would never ever get a title shot EVER!!
Bigger man George, bigger punch!

I don't understand why Lee wouldn't take the BJS fight in Ireland before taking the Quillin fight, but he ain't making me money, so who cares, I guess.
Quillin-Lee is a good solid middleweight fight.
I like Quillin here because Lee is vulnerable to punchers. Lee has also been down big in his last two fights before knocking the opponents out. It's difficult to imagine how he could do it a third time. At the same time, Quillin hasn't shown too much recently either, and he too can be hit and hurt. Lee is a better boxer than Quillin, but not as big (Quillin used to fight at 168 and Lee fought at 154 recently). Quillin is a bit faster than Lee. Probably stronger too. Footwork isn't either guy's strong suit.
Do you know that Quillin asked GGG to move up because he was too good?![]()

Saunders: I Believe I Can Beat Quillin or Lee Right Now! - Boxing News
Saunders might be on the undercard making his US debut.
Apparently they paid Saunders 6 figs to step aside. Not a bad nights work for sitting on his ass? THink hell be on the undercard in his US debut and will get a shot at the winner if he wants. Id fancy him against either of the 2 to be honest. He'll prob be a decent price against Quillen too.

Thinking on it there is no way this misses shootout. It feels like Quillin is in need of rebuilding, Lee at peak of new momentum. Its a solid scrap
