I can agree with this. Because he always starts late, but it was clear he had no answer for when I thought he would have- around the 7th or 8th round. But, if he did have a condition, then who are we to say he could not turn it up a bit.

I mean, Wilder wasn't even floored. That in itself is something, because I saw Stiverne punch before- and even with his slow, plodding style, Wilder doesn't have a granite chin and punches that floored guys before Stiverne in the past should put Wilder on wobbly street.

Take a look at what he did to Ray Austin late- nearly tore his head off. Arreola, one of the better chins in the division, who took sledgehammers from Vitali, got floored the first match and knocked out in the second. But Wilder didn't even faze, and took shots from Stiverne?

Stiverne's punches had to have no steam on them. And it wasn't because of Wilder, it was because something was wrong with Stiverne.

Interesting analogy with Arreola; Question: can a fighter lose their "punch" resistance?
For me I think of Tyson.
1st part of his career- when he got hit, guys I knew would joke & say uh,oh, he done pissed Tyson off, That's Iron in his jaw. But by the time of Danny Williams, he got dropped with shots IMO he would've eaten like skittles.

or John Mugabi took hellatious shots from Haglar, but after that? Guys were dropping him easy.

Could Arreola have been in that position? To where the shots he once took, just cant take them anymore & Stiverne proved it?

I mean you definitely could be on the money- that Sitverne didn't have the pop you were looking for, as I've only seen highlights of him. To me, he cracked Wilder but also he missed wildly & missing takes more out of a fighter than suspected.

But this was a young-ish champion? Stiverne wasn't over the hill and he didn't have a guy with a granite chin in front of him.
