True, he's a case study at this point. Obviously the brain bleed and brutal concussions could be used to explain recent behavior, but at the same time he apparently went through pretty comprehensive testing just to get sanctioned to fight again, and his last fight was a title victory. However crap he and Soliman(especially) looked relatively, he was obviously fit to compete on paper.

Could be he's been using some hard drugs in conjunction, or that it's just a delayed response to prior brain trauma or something, who knows.

Speaking from personal experience, Acquired Brain Injuries are very complex things. Personality changes can sometimes be so drastic that relatives and husbands/wives/children do not even recognise the same person post injury. People who were previously completely straight can become heavy users of substances in response to such a personality change, and sometimes in an attempt to redress a huge chemical imbalance or deficiency in their own brains. We know a lot more now than ever before about the brain and neurochemistry, but there is still way more that we don't know.

I hope he gets his head right, seeks treatment and makes amends with his family. He needs to stay away from the ring from here on out. Damage surely attributed to his situation, but being brought back and winning a trinket may have pushed him back onto a familiar podium that did nothing but overwhelm him all things considered.
