Speaking of Manny, I would improve him by making him stop dropping his hands when he throws, give him better balance, and learn to cut off the ring.
Manny is not a skilled and slick boxer is he?

No!! He needs all the help we can give him, especially now that he might be facing Floyd. We need to work fast, by golly!

I would have worked on Augustus power- get him to do some reps on the bench he had virtually everthing else; Stamina up the wazoo, a damn good chin. Had the footwork of Michael Jackson & he knew how to throw orthadox and unorthadox punches. Warrior will-spirited.

But he threw way too many arm punches and when he did set down, they just didnt have much pop to them.

I am very disappointed they will not listen to my advice. They will regret not listening to my advice.

Haha, to be serious I never understood why a layman would give a pro advice. If it's easy enough for you to spot and/or understand, you can bet the trainers and fighter have picked up on it as well.

Exactly and yet they still continue to make the same mistakes for whatever reason which can be exploited by their opposition.

haha. Listening to the Late grate Emanuel Steward @ his last appearance @ Canastota IBHOF- he pissed off a few trainers as he lamented today's corner's don't have fundamentals themselves.
He said- They even go through great lengths to make sure their fighter's theme song is cued for the entrance walk...then fight fans watching-- wonder why so many fighters walk out looking...dry, not even a break of sweat.

If you have Hopkins-Echols II, Stew is really grilling the corner and mocking them.

Steward: "Just listen to what they're telling him, you doin' fine baby, he's scared of you baby. he's running baby. Its gonna take a lot more than calling a fighter baby, to beat Bernard Hopkins"

Well not word for word but... something to that effect.

I agree! I don't see you giving bad advice to anyone about anything at anytime. Fact! I've waiting weeks to use that word! Lol
