I've experienced anxiety and increased heart rate on a few occasions. I think too much is put into sellers trying to 'prescribe' certain types saying this one is a mellow high...this one is a creeper high...this one keeps you peppy. More so at least in my experience its much more dependent on the user and circumstances at the time. The reduced sexual capacity and or urge is absolute horseshat. If anything its the exact opposite.

This is undoubtedly true. Weed affects people differently. I've seen people floored by quite innocuous stuff and really potent stuff just bouncing off others. And you can get three experienced stoners all trying something new and coming up with three different opinions.

Do people who bash weed, bash cigarettes? Oh, there's a sales tax on that...nevermind.

A Sales Tax so fucking high that the Mayor of NYC will berate the police to arrest people selling loose cigarettes which causes the city, county, and state of NY money.....you're welcome Eric Garner.

I get that some people hate tobacco products as well and I've had my fair share of family members and friends who have succumbed to cancer and heart disease due to the uses of those products, but at the end of the day it's a LIFE CHOICE. Actions have consequences and it's up to the individual to decide what is right for them.

I had a run in with some of the fake weed, "Spice" "K2" whatever that shit is.....I guess I had an allergic reaction or something but I haven't touched it since then. I was pretty much out of commission for 2 days with panic attack like symptoms, chills, and sweats it was like a nightmare....all I did was take some Benadryl and try to stay calm about it and eventually it wore off, but I swore off that fake shit IMMEDIATELY!

The fake stuff is dangerous because you smoke it thinking "oh this will be just like pot" noooooope it'll take you to level 10 of 10 on the high scale and then crank it up to 20. It was novel to try at first but once I had that episode I said NEVER AGAIN.

Pot is easier to control, if you're "too high" you just put the shades on, play some music, and relax because you'll come down after a while.

You adventurous wild mofo, you. Relieved to know it didn't have any long term effects on you.
Outside of Mary Jane, I have never been daring. Tylenol PM -over the counter is it. And I actually divorced Mary out my life last year.

Just 5,6 years ago I was around it a lot. I picked it up last month after being smoke free for that time and even the emphasis of "kind" or the more potent strains compared to "reggie" blew me away. If it wasn't the pooka...no one wanted to deal with it. Like, weed snobs The intake methods, amounts and a lowered tolerance level had me feeling like a first time toker. If you are full of worries and stress before a puff you will ease physically but the mind is still very much aware, sometimes even increasing them.

Yup. I was a bouncer for about 6 months when I was 19 and anyone who has done that knows how pleasant it is to deal with someone high on marijuana over someone drunk or high on another substance. I've seen people get drunk and pull knives, guys out of their minds on cocaine fighting cops... but the worst thing a pot smoker ever did was light up a joint on the dance floor

I agree with Master. The best high is a lungful of air and a clear mind, but I say that as a man who is getting older and know I haven't always looked after myself the best I could. It was my birthday the other day, so I had a few drinks and TBH I felt so bad the next day, almost as though I had been poisoned. So, once again I am just enjoying clean living.

People can take what they like and it should all be legal, but getting drunk or doing drugs is a young persons game and it can serve no long time purpose and is only going to hurt you eventually. It was interesting to read that young Brits are shunning drink and drugs and that is good to see. Not because I am an old prude, but because it is sensible. It's probably too expensive to go out as a young person anymore too! Wages down 8% but alcohol up 22% in the past 7 years! That's INFLATION!

With Cameron in government and being unemployed for 6 months the last thing you want is to be punished sweeping the roads, makes you want to take drugs.

I've smoked it pretty much every day for the last 10 years, I have a successful job, good kids, a home etc etc. Not a hint of mental illness of any degree and I'm still motivated to get up and do things everyday.

I smoke it because it helps me sleep and stops my insomnia. I smoke it in private, when kids are in bed of an evening. I don't see what harm that does to anyone.

People who are already a bit crazy might go crazier, but they are already doomed, regardless of whatever drug they choose, I think its the people, not the drug that is the problem.

At least the US is starting to wake up to the benefits, if only the UK would be the same. We have a terrible drinking culture, such a drain on so many state resources. Have you ever seen two pot heads fight or do stuff they really regret, or smash things up? Hardly ever. On drink, its almost guaranteed.

Marijuana Edibles Blamed For Keystone Death CBS Denver

"When there was no immediate impact Goodman kept downing the edibles"

Also 3 deaths linked to edible pot....3.........3......like 1, 2, 3. And LINKED, not "the 100% cause of" just LINKED. 3 is kind of low considering how awful we've been told marijuana is no I mean 3,000,000; 3,000; 300; 30 even.....3?!?!?!?! Get the fuck outta here with that "news" bunch of clickbait bullshit

Also, important part of this story: "His mother says her son likely didn’t see the warning on the back of the container which says, 'The intoxicating effects of this product may be delayed by two or more hours' ....Well I guess it's a good thing there was no anti-freeze around for him to drink
