He doesn't like the contract he signed so he's choosing to sit out.
It was his choice to sign the contract initially and his choice to re-sign with the same promoter. It's also his choice to stall and wait his contract out rather than man up and fight through his poor decision making.
Ward could fight every week, instead he's sitting in the corner with poo in his diaper crying about his unfair contract.
