There will not be a Ward fight... there may not even be a Froch fights... might never be a Chavez Jr. fight... but there certainly is a Peter Quillen fight. And at the very least, an Ande Lee showdown.

GGG does not have to chase Ward to be great. He is an elite fighter. He needs to just keep on beating the other best out there and let Ward come to him, and unless Ward fights, Ward may be needing GGG more than GGG needs Ward.

It's not sad for me. I called him the best middleweight in the world before he was a champion. His dominance of this sad division proves me right.

What's sad for me is I'm utterly bored with watching him beat up people that aren't on his level.

GGG is a great fighter, no doubt in my mind. I would like to see him completely clean out the division and think that with the excitement he brings and his fan friendly style he will be considered one of the greats without Ward. That being said, GGG needs to stay away from Ward. Ward has the perfect combination of speed, boxing ability, defense and just enough power to frustrate GGG with movement and break him down over 12 rounds. Prime Hop would have eaten him alive also.

The fact that anyone can simply ignore andre wards achievements in his young career and keep writing him off is crazy!

Andre ward is still the best fighter in the world after floyd mayweather and rather than GGG getting pressured to pick on the smaller guys he should be reaching for the top dog in the middleweight divison and that still is the inactive andre ward.

We don't want GGG vs cotto or GGG vs canelo (oscar would never allow that) we want GGG to start openly making up some noise and calling out ward for a super fight!

I'm not saying that Ward is not good or we should gloss over his achievements, but my main argument is that GGG does not need him to be a great elite fighter. He just does not. He will prove it over time and he is proving it right now.

I'm confused by how you can say that Kov is willing to fight the best but GGG isn't. Kov is in the midst of cleaning his division out and never calls Ward out or seems to want to fight him. GGG is in the midst of cleaning his division out and never calls Ward out or seems to want to fight him. Both guys r focusing on their divisions now and destroying the best available guys in those divisions willing to fight them.
