    The thing is that Manny has never been a KO artist anyway. The Hatton one was a one off. At the lower weights he stopped people with an accumulation and at the higher weights doesn't really stop people. But how easy is it to win rounds against Manny? It is bloody hard. It doesn't matter if he stops Floyd or not, he will be more active, landing more, and Floyd has been losing quite a few rounds by being outworked in recent fights. I don't think Floyd has the legs to stay off the ropes against Manny for 12 rounds which means that Manny will be in close for some of those rounds and he is fast, unpredictable and hard hitting. Reach matters but only if you can keep it in the middle and that is easier said than done. Mosley tried to box, but you still get outworked every round and it ends up being survival. Same with Barrera. Same with everyone unless you choose to fight and then you get stopped or end up looking like a Chinese sailor. Even in that last Marquez fight, Marquez was starting to lose it and it looked like Marquez was the one that had been worked out.

    I totally agree.

    if I were to [assume] manny took PED's it would be for that reason- like with Shane whose peds gave him the ability to train harder- same with Pac- his power to me is real & authentic. Nothing synthetic about his power IMO. But his punch rate just isnt what it use to be. Could it be that if he took something, thats what it did? improve conditioning. Remember Floyd has never been outhustled, he has never been fatigued, and to think a Pac over the age of 30 will outgut is not reasonable to me.
    But how easy is it to win rounds against Manny? It is bloody hard.
    This is a good point, but then again the style that suits pac IMO is the aggressor, rarily has his resume had counter punchers. JMM being the best and that dude has won quite a few, especially when they were young. JMM got a draw with 3 knockdowns? Man thats a lot of rounds to win.

    I remember Roach said Floyd's legs were shot fight one Maidana- PBF had a good response: I move, people will say I run, if I stand and trade they will say my legs are shot , so I lose no matter how I choose to win. Fight II Maidana, those legs looked mobile to me. And Pac just isnt really an agrresive fighter per se- He's a dart in & out kinda guy, looking to land from different angles when he darts in and out. So you think Pac can avoid those Floyd clinches? Ref may be a part in this you think? Pac will be able to thwart that elbow?

    Reach matters but only if you can keep it in the middle and that is easier said than done. Mosley tried to box, but you still get outworked every round and it ends up being survival.
    I respectfully disagree, Floyd uses his reach when and where he pleases. + Shane isn't a counter puncher IMO he is a boxer-puncher. + he's never really had a great jab, so his reach isnt used like Floyd's is. And Shane completely looked ordinary against PBF as well as Pac;
    He stayed away from Pac pretty good to me. ( In regards to the punches Pac missed) .
    True it lost him the fight, but if a shot Shane goes the distance & kept his distance to keep pac at 31% landing per punchstats- give or take a few; so, too, does PBF.

    -I just looked up the punchstats PBF (208 landed) & Pac (224 landed) vs Shane
    Pac threw 727 to get that. PBF threw 477 to get his.
    Difference landed (16).
    So yeah, Pac threw more, but if he only landed 31% against Shane, you think he can land that against Floyd? He'll have to throw 1,000 to get that percentage. And he aint Margarito or Paul Williams. Nor is he under the age of 30. He dont throw 1,000 punches per fight.

    Same with Barrera. Same with everyone unless you choose to fight and then you get stopped or end up looking like a Chinese sailor. Even in that last Marquez fight, Marquez was starting to lose it and it looked like Marquez was the one that had been worked out.
    You are correct, but I am hard pressed to use guys who have lost before as a measuring stick for a guy who hasnt lost in 18 years. A guy who is dogged if he moves (called a runner) is called shot if he stands and trade. Maidaina IMO landed because he kept aiming from for the side of PBF's skull. Man how many fighters train to land somewhere other than the face, forhead, nose, cheek, jaw? Hitting the ears, I can see. Only fighter Pac has fought that uses their legs well is JMM & Bradley. Sad that people dont give credit to Bradly for really having a fractured foot. Not a Haye-Bunion toe. Fight two Bradley lost well, but if he doesnt fold, neither does PBF.
    In fact, I think this may be a cakewalk for PBF, based on his style. Pac is a great fighter, but what pressure can he use to stop a guy -that last time he chose to use his legs (last fight) looked like Castillo fight II? A wash.
