He was once seen as the saviour of a moribund HW division & as far as I'm concerned, he is now just a joke.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not belittling what he achieved, as he achieved a fair bit, but his legacy could have been so much better.

All what he did will be eclipsed by his 'toe' & the fact that he took up a new sport of pulling out of scheduled fights.

He's cooked his goose as far as I'm concerned, because I no longer trust him enough to ever to buy a ticket to watch him fight ever again; that's if he does bother to fight again.

He was good, but never really saw himself with the potential to be great. That's his story. He was content with being third string.

Thats the way I feel about Haye. If you can't trust someone to do what they say, they aren't worth having around. Life is too short to spend it listening to bullshit! IMO

The only thing Haye has wasted is everyones time and money, not least Tyson Furys.

Tyson has chased him back in to retirement.

When wlad loses to Fury Haye will announce his retirement for good. He is waiting for Wlad to unify and then try to jump in again. He wouldn't have a hope in hell anyway but thats what he's waiting for. As iv said probably dozens of times, Haye couldn't live with a loss to Fury.

He still owes me money from tickets and hotels due to two cancelled fights

I wouldnt be surprised if he announced a comeback at some point soon - but will probably withdraw from fight a few weeks before

Only wanted the big fights and couldn't be arsed taking on the fringe fighters to get there

How many fights did he have - 25 or so ? Defo not 30 I don't think

True but then he sold his soul against Audley debacle and Wlad effort. Chisora fight was a side show.

He had a good run, champion in two weight classes, but yeah it's a shame we didn't get to see more of him. He was a fantastic talent, quick agile HW with huge power in both hands, very exciting style and personality for the HW division but I guess his heart wasn't really in it anymore. Shame we didn't get to see him in more fights.

I can somewhat agree here. He has been a wasted talent.

Not quite ready to write him off yet. When he comes back and we can visibly see his decline, then I'll be on board all the way.
