I think the 1st part is unpopular at least..

Ray Leonard was over rated as a boxer- But very underated as a brawler.

Ray Leonard was the most hyped and protected figher of all time. He earned more in his first fight than Marvin Hagler was earning after 15 years as a pro.

He only ever took ONE risky fight, the first Hearns fight. Each and every other fight was carefully chosen and he always waited until his opponent was the most vulnerable.

Duran was coming up in weight, Leonard was the naturally bigger man and he should have won. He messed Hagler around for years, and most certainly didn't desrve the decision against him. There is no way he drew with Hearns in their second fight.

All the time the image machines was focusing on his smile and hyping him up, he was doing coke and beating his wife up.

Those are all basic facts that nearly everybody agrees on with exception to the ridiculous basketball rubbish made up by American's as an excuse for losing to foreign boxers. And I dunno about Beans.

I like the Tyson bit. I've never met ANY single person who actually believes that Tyson wasn't set up by that bitch.

You can paint most fighters in such light there X but really, LEonard fought plenty of guests and I find it difficult to believe he manufactured his entire career.

You can say the same about MAyweather or Ali but they still fought many high quality opponents for their respective times (the exception being the Manny duck of course).
