Alright he may have won round or two but this was not close.

116/111 x 3 and the right guy won. I thought for sure I was about to witness a robbery.

Just not in the thread title no worries bud. The way this guy was eating punches coming up it was just a matter of time.

I actually thought most would have been aware it was happening and then there is the front page of every site on the web.

I agree on Shiming and always thought he was way more china doll then warrior. Amnat is doing well for a guy who literally fought his way out of prison. I actually thought he might knock Shiming out even though he lacks one shot pop.

Arums an odd chap. Had he pushed Rigo and Gamboa the way he has forced Loma and Shiming things may have turned out quite different. What he saw in Shiming that he didn't see in the 2 cubans puzzles me but it could have been how he viewed the divisions.
But they were left in the blood bank a little long especially Gamboa and he almost seemed to toy with Rigo's career.

Pleasantly surprised at the good call in China. Arum and Shiming have already made that area a ton of money. They built the venue for the guy. I thought for sure Amnat would have to find a way to stop him to win.

Shiming was the favorite on paper, but in reality he was limited good to see the judges getting it right
you have to take title, and not let judges steal it for you.

Thinking the answer on Shimings push was based in being his home base and the all mighty Rigo floated over trying to impress fans in the States who often prefer a trash talking more smoke than fire type guy or two guys beating the snot out of each other in a phone booth. Hard core fans love the talent and skill but to most its like a classic Shelby entering a monster truck rally. To me Gamboa was a rush job. He had him co featured on HBO by his 10th fight where he promptly produced a very flat effort, just never retooled and his flaws became part of everything after.

Def looked like a slip in 2nd by Ruenroeng, up to here in the 8th he is just making Shiming look a bit clueless and roughing him up at will.
