I didn't realise the ghost has only fought once since his defeat to mayweather.... I guess this is set up so thurman can defeat some of floyds pasts opponents to build to a thurman floyd fight.

This makes no sense. You have to weigh 147 on Thursday, but can weigh whatever you want on fight night? These weight differences are unsafe, so we were told to justify a weight class every 7 pounds. All that is out the window and we now have super-middles fighting junior middles and calling themselves welterweights.
