Mares not having everything his own way. Seems to be just going through the motions.

    Unanimous decision for Mares.

He said he was sick during the post fight interview. He didn't sound good, so I'm thinking he was sick.

Best part of this format in my opinion. No entourages or obscure rappers mumbling while diamond encrusted grins and sunglasses and asinine dance moves crowd up my TV screen. While I admit there seemed to be a little flare missing with that catwalk (it was kind of like a real life version of the video game ring walks), it was kind of refreshing to have a gladiator entrance and better lighting (Perhaps just add some pyrotechnics like ufc). I'm split on the crew. The stalling for each fight was noticeable but forgivable for a fight like Guerrero/Thurman. The commentator cutting broner off when he started with "the africans, mexicans..." was hilarious.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

I thought the same thing: what a horrible fight for prime time. Molina's wild overhand looked really amateurish.

Thank goodness for Ghost & One time. They saved the night. But I admit, I switched channels a few times until the main event.

I was only half watching Broner/Molina. I thought it was pretty shameful of Molina's part, it was amazing to see a guy who went to war with a banger like Matthysse just standing there and seemingly have no fight against Broner. Broner's running and celebrating before the final bell was shameful too but what can you expect from a guy like Broner?

Broner's had 3 fights since getting his ass whipped by Maidana, now let's see him in there with a real opponent. Maidana rematch , Garcia, the winner (or hell even the loser) of Provod/Matthysse, ect.

Worse was Molina claiming Broner ran, but the first 3 rounds it looked like Molina backing up. I turned to Criminal Minds.

even Molinas corner was mad, Molina throwing one punch haymakers all night. That shit requires no training camp. He was just there to collect a check
