Cold Heart and a Weak Mind

He put that TBE hat on his head not meYou are the one that said Floyd doesn't fight at 160, like it is something to be proud off
I originally posted that he needs to challenge himself and GGG is a challenge
is Genaro Hernandez the only fight that Floyd wasn't the favorite
what were the odds when Ali fought Liston or Frazier, or Hopkins vs Kovalev
if you want to call yourself a great you need to be compared with the greats

So you don't want to answer the question about GGG being the favoritemany great fighters had better starts than 47-0
but they took challengers and didn't establish their greatness until after losing
Zarate was 52-0 before moving up to challenge Gomez and Zarate is not even considered the best bantamweight ever
Benvenuti was 65-0 with a 120-0 amateur record before his first loss
not to mention the number of hall of fame fighters other greats have fought
All that other stuff is irrelevantsure he's been P4P number 1, whatever that's worth, it is a highly subjective mythical list after all
but when was the last time he wasn't the favorite going in
Mayweather needs to challenge himself if he wants to be considered an all time great

Floyd has fought guys that, at this present time, would be ranked higher on the "p4p greatest of all time" list than Glolovkin.
I love GGG but he isn't even the linear champ of his weight division, and he never beat the man at his weight division. Why is he considered a greater fighter than a guy like De la Hoya?![]()
David Lemieux = Future MW Champ and P4P King
You said Floyd should fight Golovkin because, and I quote, "he should be measured against other greats." That insinuates that you believe Golovkin is a great fighter. If you don't think he's a great fighter, why would Floyd fight him? According to you, greats must be measured against other greats, so fighting a non-great like GGG would be a waste of time, right?
David Lemieux = Future MW Champ and P4P King
I said
'Other great fighters that started at lighter weights than Floyd have competed at middleweight (Armstrong, Gavilan, Napoles, Duran)Floyd claims to be TBE so he should be measured against other greats'
Where is GGG in that sentenceGolovkin would be a huge risk for Floyd and previous great have taken risks and challenged themselves
