I like this kovalev guy..imagine a fight with carl froch..yes please.
Kovalev destroyed that welsh guy so bad he left the divison..he is the man to beat and loved his work against Hopkins.

It's a fair matchup and if it was 4 rounds it would be more of a toss up, but Kovalev will likely stay alert early and then pile on some hurt as Pascal loses steam.
It's a real shame about Cleverly. He had good output and fast hands, but when push came to shove he really folded against Kovalev. It's easy for an armchair fan to criticize but I expected a bit more from the career of Cleverly and a much smarter performance against Kovalev. Probably no real way back now that his confidence seems to have dissipated.
Kovalev is fantastic. It's just never good when a top fighter gets beaten down easily and it seems some can never really bounce back from that. You always think of boxers as being tough as nails and they are, but you forget how vulnerable they must be and especially after taking a licking. It's a funny one boxing. Then there are the likes of Toney that can lose, but they never really seem terribly hurt and mentally could probably fight even with a zimmerframe.
Kov is a beast. I think mentality will be a large factor in this fight n Kov has a killer's mentality while Pascal is a bit of a head case in my opinion. Pascal will likely have some moments early, but I just can't see him stopping Kov or boxing a disciplined fight for 12 rounds. I agree with the prediction that he either gets sparked or stopped late from exhaustion. My one, tiny hesitation is that I wonder if Hop fought his age more so than Kov being that good. I think Kov is the real deal, but I can also see where I may be putting too much emphasis on that win...
