#1 People will be curious to see how Floyd handles defeat
#2 People who wanted to see Floyd beaten once will probably want to see it happen again especially if there's chance of a KO

Because if FLoyd loses it's highly unlikely it will have been a less than stellar fight, at least the way I see it. Who honestly expects Pacquiao to outbox him in a relatively tame affair? Floyd may coast to victory now and then, but he's not going to take a loss without giving his all, and usually has to be more aggressive against southpaws in the first place.

Wasn't the Tyson v Holyfield 2 fight bigger than their first one?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
floyd could win easily, then a rematch probably wouldnt be that interesting
any other outcome a rematch would be big
probably

So do I. All I said is that in order for a rematch or trilogy to equal the first Floyd would have to lose. If he were to lose, then the second would make more then the first and if he won that, the rubber would pay more then the first two. I'm not saying he will for money reasons.
But I also believe Manny's best shot is this first fight and that there are most likely trilogy plans if he does and maybe even if he does not.

I agree.
for #1. All the casual fans and people who never watched the first fight will tune in to see if it was a fluke. We live in a society where people do all types of irrational things just to see history being made and/or for the sake of saying they were there or saw it live.
for #2, It becomes like a freak show whenever someone is supposed to be one of the best for so long but another fight just has his number. Think DLH/ Mosey, Mosely/Forrest, Forrest Mayorga. Sometimes, the greater the disparity between the fighters, the bigger the freak show.
Also for all the people figuring the fight was past it's expiration date and didn't want to spend the money or time to watch it. Somehow it will now see like a fountain of youth fight, and they missed out. The fighters turned back the hands of time fought for all the glory and put on a fight like it was supposed to happen... A promoter's objective is to make you forget all the facts you already know and buy into their version of the truth. So no matter what the numbers are for this fight, we can expect them to be inflated simply for the sake of saying the first fight was the biggest event even and so don't miss the rematch. Especially where arum is concerned as that's his MO....
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.
