James Toney vs Cotto would've been special. It's not like JT runs from anyone. Yet he had lapses where he didn't always show up. A bit bias for Cotto, so I'd pick him over Lamar Parks & Reggie Johnson.

Special like Roy Jones vs Manny PAcquiao would have been? I don't think Cotto could have done anything at all to James at 160, or Reggie Johnson either, who was a really good fighter. He made a good move in fighting MArtinez and looked good there, but let's not get carried away... He's not far removed from getting shut out by Austin TRout at 154, and that's arguably the last capable boxer he faced.

#10 Steve Collins I can't see 92' with too much to worry about. Its tough to rank Cotto as he won't even make the complete step up but Kalamby works him out as does Johnson. The only one iffy is Kid Fire Parks. Really think if Lee landed a couple haymakers Parks would be in a bad way. The Murray who was granite & gonads vs Golovkin might even grind him down.

In 2025 someone will start a thread using the eyepad (a device that plugs into your eyes which you can start threads on) saying which is better class of 2015 or today's lot and the answers will be the 2015 lot would smash the current crop

Then in 2035 a similar thing will happen be this time with their brain implant, and they will start the thread whilst teleporting to Barbados for a family holiday

Teleporting to Barbados will at least mean we do not have to worry about depressed pilots.

First thought was - Fuck me! The 2015 gang will get killed.

But I wonder if the reality would be so onesided? In his pomp Taylor actually did beat Hopkins, twice. You could probably find a few wins stylewise for the 2015 mob. GGG wouldn't be out of place against any of them. Lee did iron out Jackson's son after all (joke).

That's not to say today's class is bad, far from it IMO, just 1992 was obviously freakishly strong.

James Toney whips everyone on today's list, as does Roy Jones, Bhop, McCallum and IMO Reggie Johnson. Johnson is SO fucking underrated, most people have no idea how good that guy was.

Exactly, at the time these guys were young- we knew they were something special- we just didnt know how special they would all become. Today's guys is kinda iffy.
