I just don't understand Amir Khan at all.

He's got the perfect opportunity to fight for a world title with a career highest purse, against a Briton in Britain, against a guy he claims he can beat easily, yet he isn't jumping at the chance of this fight?

There has got to be something going on in the background that we all can't see.

I think Khan should take the fight, but in fairness, hes bringing everything to the table. Who else could Brook realistically fight in Wembley and get a guaranteed purse for 5 million. A mickey mouse world title which I see becoming obsolete in the next few years is all Brook has. None of the best fighters in the division (that Brook would fight) would be willing to come to England.

I don't see what Khan brings to the table to be honest. He earnt $700k in his last fight, chicken feed. As for Mickey Mouse titles, they're all Mickey Mouse titles nowadays, but they're still titles. WBC and WBA have super champions, emeritus champions, regular champions, interim champions, the WBO isn't much better.
Khan hasn't even got a Micky Mouse title. He hasn't got a promoter, he's got an adviser , who "advises" most of his fighters not to fight by the looks of it. And because Khan has been fighting no marks in the states, I don't even think Khan has that big a fan base in the UK.
I've said it before, when Brook beat Porter, Porter was seen as the next big thing in boxing. Khan hasn't beat anybody better.
Finally, when Khan was a World Champion , he beat Kotelnik for it , who at the time was by far the weakest champ out there. Is that not a bit Micky Mouse?

I'm not sure a Khan Brook UK fight would make that much money, and its a risk for the promoter, good luck to him if he gets it on and makes money. Khan is not that big box office over here (outside Bolton) and I think that Brook sells more tickets. Khan will sell more PPV in the US courtesy of Oscars investment in him (not one of his best), but it aint a 5 million dollar fight. Brook should obviously take the fight if offered for whatever money because he wins easily.

I think if Pac wins he will want to face Brook and unify I don't think Floyd would do and will concentrate on beating Marcianos record the easiest way possible being so close to it.
So if that happens then Brook will lose to Pac I reckon and that leaves him and Khan with no belts.

Ideal scenario would be winner of Khan v Brook facing the winner of Pac v Floyd for all the belts 😉

Khan is not the same fighter under Virgil hunter..please remember that.

Virgil has overhauled khan with a bigger engine, turbo and bigger hard drive.

    Khan is boxing.

Where do you get these ideas from?

Khan has carefully selected non-punchers as he moved into welterweight. They will not go near Thurman or Brooks even with the big engine, turbo and hard drive for fear he will crash.

Its funny how people shit all over Khan. He beat Maidana who got 2 shots at Mayweather and gave him his hardest fight in a long time and he beat Broner. Also just schooled Collazo who has been heavily avoided and Alexander who seemed to be ducked by Kell. Porter is the only good fighter Kell has faced and with regards to him being the next big thing is all based on one fight against Alexander, who Khan beat in just as impressive fashion. Khan v Brook is a close fight but cant see how Brook can be made favorite. I didnt think he looked great against Porter at all and cant see him handling Khan. Only way he beats Khan is with a KO and Khan looks smarter in the ring now.

Good and intriguing fight which needs to happen.

I like Khan, think he's a terrific fighter. Can easily see him doing a number on Brook because of his amazing speed. But he hasn't just been ironed out against big punchers he's been walked down by Peterson (I thought he won this fight) and Collazo (although obviously he was whooping him). Brook is much stronger, harder punching and talented than these. Plus they've sparred in the past and Brook is not exactly shy about wanting to fight him.

Saw Brook was 7/4 with one firm. If they were fighting this year, which they're obviously not, I'd have some of that.

I agree the 7/4 is big. I originally had Brook as fav for this before Khan beat Collazo and Devon so easily. Id say somewhere between 11/10 and 5/4 is about right for Brook now. Pretty sick the fight isnt happening this year. Decent bet on Khan to win a world title this year and Brook would be his best chance probably.

Brook must have been his only chance (I assume Thurman's title don't count?). After May he'll only fight once more, would need Manny to beat Floyd
